CONVERGE 2025: Bringing the CDR Community Together
Our biggest event of the year highlighted what makes the CDR community strong — collaboration and learning.
Held May 4–7 at the Denver Marriott Tech Center, CONVERGE 2025 brought together distributors, partners, and our team for three days of meaningful connection. Attendees explored new ways to leverage DAC, learned about upcoming enhancements, and shared success stories from their own operations.
Beyond the sessions and training, CONVERGE reminded us that progress in distribution comes from community — from listening, learning, and growing together.

Honoring Industry Leadership: Celebrating Jebb Maginnis

At the CDA Awards Luncheon during the Convenience Distribution Business Exchange in Phoenix, Jebb Maginnis was honored as the 2025 Dean of the Industry — a testament to his long-standing dedication and leadership within the industry.
Following his retirement in 2025, Jebb leaves behind a legacy of integrity and innovation that continues to shape CDR Software. Our leadership team remains committed to the same values he instilled — strong partnerships, reliable solutions, and unwavering support for our customers.

Throughout 2025, we hosted a lineup of webinars designed to help DAC users work smarter, not harder. Each session provided actionable insights on improving efficiency and accuracy across the business:
- Transform Equipment Management with DAC Equipment Manager (Jan 31) — Control costs and improve visibility.
- Unlock API Power for Convenience Distributors (Apr 16) — Extend IBM i system capabilities with RPG-based APIs.
- Streamline Financial Planning with the DAC Tax Module (Jun 25) — Automate tax reporting and simplify compliance.
- Eliminate Picking Errors with PickRight (Sep 30) — Reduce warehouse errors and improve accuracy.
These sessions gave customers the tools and confidence to optimize processes and make the most of their ERP investment — one of our ongoing priorities at CDR.
Continuing Innovation and Industry Collaboration

In 2025, CDR continued to collaborate closely with IBM’s Common Americas Advisory Council (CAAC), ensuring the needs of distributors are represented as the IBM i platform evolves.
We also strengthened relationships with the CDA and The Southern Association of Wholesale Distributors, working together to advance modernization efforts and support distributor success.
Enhancements to DAC, SupplyLogic, and VMR Console reflect our ongoing, customer-driven approach to product development — delivering improvements that make daily operations simpler, smarter, and more connected.
