Instructions for configuring CMI in DAC/CIM:

 

Note:  Ensure that DAC is operating at PTF level 4581 or higher with PTF# 4703 installed before proceeding with these instructions.

This document provides step-by-step instruction for configuring the CV1 Integration Module to produce CMI-formatted data for your customer(s).

1.) From the main DAC menu, take option 9, then option 9, then option 3.

2.) Press F5 to start the configuration guide.

3.) Next, you must choose if you are setting up a corporate, or a single store.  If you choose "corporate account" (recommended), invoice and pricebook data for every store in the corporate structure will be produced as combined output.  If you choose "individual customer", only invoice and pricebook data for that one customer will be produced.  Consult with your CMI customer to determine how they wish receive data.  Choose the appropriate option and press enter.

4.) Select either the corporate or customer account. 

5.) You will then be asked "Should this account be setup to receive data on a daily basis at this time".  Choose "Y", and press enter.

6.) Next, you'll be asked "What types of data should this account receive".  Choose option "3" to manually select.

7.) In the Add Topic field, enter "X4" and press enter.  Then, enter "CI" and press enter.  Finally, press F3.

8.) Next, you'll be asked "What format should the data be in?".  Choose option "6" for CMI.

 

Your configuration is now complete.  You will see a summary of your options on the screen including the QDLS folder name where data files will be produced.
